I'd rather focus on the passing of Karl Malden, Robert Mcnamara and what all else.

I think there are too many tributes to Michael Jackson.. I woke up, turned on the tele.. Michael Jackson tribute. Then there's another one tonight. I guess it's a good way to make money.

and they're replaying the whole deal on one of the cable channels.

but then again, how often does somebody of that musical impact kick the bucket.

No one has given a crap about him in a long time. His last album bombed and his huge comeback was probably not going to be huge. But now that he is dead, he is the biggest and greatest ever. Come on. Just like Elvis, this is the biggest thing to happen to his career in a very long time.

Ok peeps... I know this is going to come as quite a shock to you all but.... BOTH ELVIS AND MJ are DEAD.

And i bet MJ staged his death b/c he -- like us -- knew that'd his fame would come back around. It was a suicide, I think. And done so, so that we'd all remember his name. Smart dude. All that $$ that those programs are making should go to his estate and help the fam pay off his debt. But seriously... how much is Janet worth?? or the rest of his siblings??? his debts are paid!!

Why do you think Germaine wants that casket at Neverland?

Money of course! Graceland West.

Michael is worth more dead than he was alive..to everyone involved.

The tour promoter had him insured to the hilt. He was probably rapidly exceeding the budget. He, in all likelihood, would not have completed all the shows. His estate assets far outstrip his debt. The estate will have a couple hundred million to start fresh with after the debts are paid. Not to mention there's been a treasure trove of songs left behind. Album sales this week alone have been staggering. Memorabilia, and T-shirt sales have been staggering. There'll be no end in sight to those sales. Not to mention Neverland becoming a destination ala Graceland. Especially, if the casket is there, the ticket sales will be hand over fist....nobody in that family will be hurting for cash, the only difference now from two weeks ago is you don't have a flaky wild card at the helm of that financial ship driving it into the ground.

What bugs me the most of all is the fact that the people who raised him and did such a horrible job are now going to be the ones raising his kids. I feel so sorry for those kids. They are going to be so f'ed up.

oh contrare, I believe his comeback tour would have been pretty popular.

If for no other reason than the fact that the audience would know this would be the last chance to see Michael.

Kind of like with Dean Martin - the guy didn't play a gig for nearly 20 years before his death, but he could've packed any place in Vegas.
