It's a shame that in todays society, we forgive such things so easily if you've got a little fame under your belt. Not to mention the fact that on June 24th, he wasn't even a blip on the radar, no one was saying squat about him, 2 days later he's dead, and all the sudden everyone cares.

I won't often judge a man guilty if a jury won't.

His fans were saying plenty about him. He had a huge tour in the works. You can't assume that since your particular media selections didn't expose you to him that he was invisible.

While I view this as a somewhat sanctimonious statement...The good news is that no one has asked you to judge him...so you're all set.

Wow. The gavel is out today! Michael Jackson's a molester because someone said so, and I'm sanctimonious. Ironnnnneeeeeee.

You see, to someone with good critical thinking skills, taking the headlines and applying them to another human being in a disparaging fashion is far more sanctimonious than giving him the benefit of the doubt. To imply that I'd defend him because I'm a devout fan is laughable on several levels. I simply don't turn on people over rumor.

Thanks for reminding me why I don't visit much anymore.

You know he did admit to having a "sleep over" and one of the boys in question did "sleep" in his bed with him. No grown man sleeps with little boys in his own bed. At a certain age you don't even let your own kids do that anymore, let alone somebody elses.

I always thought MJ was Asexual. But somehow he has three kids. Weird, wild stuff.

I admit I loved him in the 80's, not so much in the 90's, not really sure what he turned into the last 15years.

Talented, Strange, Rich, In Debt, Controversial, did I mention Strange.

Dude was a mixed bag of good/bad/stupid. There's lots of different takes on his life & career and all of them have some validity to them.

Well...if you only had gotten your facts straight, perhaps you wouldn't have become confused. I never accused him of being a molester...I merely stated that I remembered he "WAS" twice accused. I never called him guilty or innocent, you came up with that on your own.

I stated a fact which is detailed in any number of the articles currently in print about him.

He Was Twice Accused, that still has not changed.

Perhaps your good critical thinking missed this detail?

But, thanks again for Judging what I wrote...As always, I appreciate your input.

of course, only the *absolutely* innocent settle out of court for undisclosed amounts.

Oh whatever guys... please don't split hairs over stupid things like this. Ya, his later years were quite the controversy, and he may or may have done such-n-such. His "judgment" has come already, if you believe in that stuff, and it's really no longer our issue.

The guy was awesome in the 80's/90's (i liked him in the 90's GR lol), and that's how I'll remember him. It's up to you to either do the same, or let it all go.

Whoo-sahhhh.... keep it civil. He may have been huge, but he's not that big to get you all rowed up, right?

How many times did they play "The way you make me feel" on VH-1? Like 14,000,000,0000,000 times!!! You know back when they actually played videos.

It's funny because about a year ago I showed my 10yr old (who had never seen MJ) some of his videos on youtube. He said "I know that song"..............."You mean he's a guy!?".........."I thought it was a girl singing those songs!" Got another comedian in the family I guess.

If you have a favorite MJ song what was it?

Mine was really never even popular. It's "Give in to me"......I think it's because of the Slash guitar solo in it. lol

If MJ did what they said he did there is something wrong with those kid's parents. Someone molests my kid, he isn't going to be able to pay me off. (He may end up shot!) My old world values would demand justice. He was never convicted. I think if someone can pay you off after molesting your kid... your the sick one!
