I think you look fairly comfy on that bike already and that a larger frame might not be the answer. When the C109 was first delivered to the dealer I was talking about it with the shop owner. He's 6'-4" and said he thought the 109s were uncomfortably long even for him and he rides a Goldwing. Any of the bigger suzuki's would be a lousy fit for me, I'm only 5'-7" and they would need serious handlebar mods. The new pullback risers I think are the best bet for now. Good luck and I hope you can get a better resolution to your problems.

Do you use your hwy pegs much? If you can position the hwy pegs down lower on the hwy bars you might be able to stretch out your legs straight and also that might allow your back to push up more firmly against your backrest. But it's sounds like you've already tried about everything so far. Is that a Vulcan 1500?

YEs...it is the 1500 vulcan classic. I read somewhere their newer designs have longer frames...LOL I have tried about a dozen positions for my pegs and I use them a lot.. when I get the pegs low enough to be comfy, they become the first thing to scrape in a turn...lol, luckily I had em rotated so the peg 'folds up to the rear' instead of 'edge on' when they hit the asphalt or I am not sure what would have happened...! It works best for me not have the legs fully extended out on the pegs...about a 120 deg angle from thigh to calf seems best..and I get that with my heels on the footboard and toes out on the peg. I know !! I need a Lazy Boy chair on wheels !!! Quote:

If you're wanting a lazy boy with wheels, definitely go for some form of a full on touring bike, rather than a classic cruiser.

The bikes with the most room and an upright position would be an adventure tourer like a BMW R1200GS. One nice thing about them is that you can stand up on them easily. So, while approaching 1,000 miles in a day, you can stretch and give the but a break for a few secounds.

it would appear your legs are a bit long for the bike; but that's nothing, I sat on a Moto guzi (california? I think that was the model ) and at 6 1" my knees almost banged into my jaw. a full set of forward controls would appear to be in order. apparently, they build these bikes for the average height of the home market; which would make it perfect for somebody about 5' 6".

I feel your pain Annie.... I'm 6'4" and looked at a lot of bikes before I found one that sort of fit me. I had to add riser spacers and I rotated the bars up a bit to make it fit me.
