It's a good thing everyone isn't packing heat...then the big industry kids wish they could be when they grew up would be 'coffin maker'.

Most people I know "pack heat" (legally), they are the nicest people you could meet and you never know when they are packing.

I had a truck merge on the right, then cross three lanes directly in front of me to take the upcoming fork to the left. He was blinking, but how in the world am I supposed to know that he's planning to cut across the whole freaking highway instead of just merging into the right lane? The back end of his truck was less than 5 feet from the grill of my car when he crossed into my lane....

I've a friend who just passed a class to carry a concealed weapon. Ya, I know quite a few people who carry a concealed permit for a weapon in their cars.

I know that you're bitter about this, but I tend to do this quite a bit here in SC. Half the streets I need to be on are always on the immediate left side, and I'm after merging onto the road from the right -- or vice versa!Take this morning: I was turning left onto a main road (has two turn lanes to do this), but once I get on the main road it has 5 lanes to it, right on the bridge. I needed to merge all the way right to the farthest right lane to turn right onto the highway, b/c none of the TWO turn lanes matched up with the other THREE on the main road itself. And there was a sucker there who wouldn't let me in, so I punched it and cut in front of him. The whole logistics of that dang bridge is enough to make someone want to bomb it and design a better way.

I will also do it driving through big cities that have 6-lane highways (3 on each side). No one seems to understand that in order for traffic to go through a big city sans incident, people need to drive the speed limit. Not UNDER... but the limit, or OVER the limit. Driving through all the lanes (and traffic) like that keeps me awake when I've been driving a long time. (Btw... best place to do that: Chicago!).

had this happen to me this morning. Getting to HOME depot was far more improtant that remembering you cannot switch lanes in a intersection.
Oh if i was not running late...I might have taken a dump on her hood.
