There's really only two Harleys that tempt me. The Fatbob & Vrod Muscle. Probably won't ever own either of them but I do like them.

I don't typically care for the Fatboy. But this picture of a totally customized one is pretty slick. I could ride that one.

I second the FATBOB. The other...look good sitting still but the ride and heat is unbearable.

I would also agree on the fatboy (I think) vs the vrod;

the vrod hasn't turned out to be the marketing "all that and a bag of chips" Harley hoped it was going to be.

Plus, it gets fairly close to encroaching in on Buell territory.

Not really. A V-Rod even the Street Rod won't handle anywhere near as well as a Buell.

Who buys a Harley because of handling???!!! C'mon give me a break. You buy a Harley for looks & nameplate only.

I really liked the pictures of the V-Rod Muscle so I went into A Harley dealer while I was waiting for the women to shop at the mall next to it. They had three of them I didn't realize that they came lowered until then. The salesman must have thought I was an idiot when I asked, "Can't you get one that has not been lowered?" He just stared at me for a couple of seconds with this look like, "Why in the hell would you want that for?" Then he just walked away. Oh, well. I guess I just don't get it.

I sat on one as well at a bike show. The bike is a real looker. I like it ton's more than the standard V-Rods. I wouldn't mind test riding one just to see how it feels.

It does look great. I can get a test ride on one, but just don't see the point since it is lowered. That is a deal breaker for me unless they could raise it up to the hight of the standard V-Rod which might be possible.

I've always heard they were pretty fast; fairly simple bike with a fair amount of power.

I think your going to find that there arn't to many full sized bikes of any manufacturer that arn't faster than your 650.
