Default How to purchase a bike that needs to be paid off.
I want to buy a bike from a private seller. The problem is the bike still is not yet paid off. It was financed through his credit union not through the dealership (he bought it new). Is it possible for me to go with him to his credit union to pay it off and have title sent directly to me? What kind of paperwork would I need so I don't get ripped off.

I just don't want to drive off with the scoot then have the title sent to him. He might it report it stolen or something lol.

What would be the best way to do this.
