For those of you that have been keeping up with Chip over the past week, well he is home now. We went and picked him up today after work. The Doc didn't even try to charge for the hospitalization or food and meds from the past four days, and apologized repeatedly for the young vet that made the misdiagnosis last wednesday. Chip is still pretty weak, and he has lost a good bit of weight, but he looks to be much better than he was last week. I just hope he will continue to improve, this has been a rather long week. He will be on a few antibiotics for the next few weeks to kill the meningitis. |
