Any one ever tried Hoegaarden? I just bought a 6 pack at Albertson's and I must say it's not too bad, a little pricey though...

Yep! We get that stuff over here, it's pricey ove this side of the pond too. I seem to recall being able to get different brews of it, White, Amber or Brown (colour) and each was distinctly different and equally nice.

I don't know if other flavors are available here, but I picked up some of the White.

Had my first Yuengling Lager last night. Boy do those go down easy. Nice & smooth. I'm not that sophisticated, I either like it or I don't. I liked it.

1. Bud Light (Because it's cheap)

2. Bud Light (Because it's cheap)

3. Coors Light Tall Boys (Because they remind me of hot Missouri summer nights when being young and dumb was beautiful and I thought I'd never have to grow up)

4. Pabst Blue Ribbon (Only after a few Bud Lights... ya'know the passage: Serve the good wine first, then the tripe after)

I'm so happy for you. (sniff, sniff) Yuengling has been a favorite of mine for years.

It's one of my favorite places to vist. 1 1/2 hours south of me is the brewery.

Not sure where the topic has been led to at this point, but I LOVE beer, so wanted to get my few cents in:

1. Overall best beer/ale I've ever had is a microbrew out of the Amherst Brewing Company in Amherst, MA: Massatucky Brown Ale.
2. Franziskaner Dark Wheat - chocolately wheat, light texture and slightly carbonated.
3. Trader Joe's Pale Ale - Greatest balance of hops and floral ever. Best at room temp.
4. Hoegarten - DELICIOUS Belgian white, crispy w/ citrus; better than a margarita on a hot summer day.
5. Guiness ... well, Guiness w/ a shot of Irish whiskey. yumm!
