I only drink Guinness when I am hungry....

Honestly though I got batfaced on that stuff once and threw up in my sleep, I woke up in an oilslick, the bedsheets just would not come clean - had to bin them!

I do still enjoy a glass from time to time.

Oh and Magners cider, over ice on a hot summers day... slurp!

I had a Fat Tire Amber Ale beer this weekend for the first time. I actually really liked it. I surprised myself.

Well, last night I had a couple of bottles of Innis & Gunn, Handcrafted beer, made in Edinburgh. Matured in oak casks!

.....And it was divine! Fruity, vanilla-ey,tasty and smooth as smooth can be.

then followed by a Bateman's IPA, which was a total contradiction a heavy malty full flavoured extravaganza.

Both completely different, both completely delicious and both from......... Aldi's

Borremsup!! hic!

It's supposedly one of the Holy Trinity of Craft Beers. We don't get it down here. So I'm plotting a buying spree on my next foray north of the Florida State line.

Exit 212 in Locust Grove, GA off I-75 carries it. Dont' say I never helped you out! lol

Z & Z package store at the entrance to the outlet mall. Great store with lots of imports. I've seen it in there.

You are now my new favorite friend.

Are there any beverage emporium chains I should be looking for in Atlanta or thereabouts? I guess I'm asking for a complete beverage mart with a full complement of beer. (Places around here have limited stocks.)

(And I do get to Locust Grove regularly.)

Well for my southside area Z & Z is the best to my knowledge. It's more of a liquor warehouse so you might find that one to your liking.

If your up in Atlanta I've heard that "Beverage Warehouse" is good as well. I've never been there but you might want to drop in and check it out if your on the northside.

beverage warehouse + roswell, ga - Google Maps

Brewtopia Events LLC - Atlanta, GA - Beer Places - Hotlanta Some good spots to check out.

One more thing. If you get up to Atlanta fairly regularly bookmark "Creative Loafing - Atlanta" Beer pick of the week page. They have some good write ups on seemingly endless brew pubs or new mirco brews.

Beer pick of the week: Little Sumpin Sumpin Ale | Omnivore Atlanta

Good info Nate.

The first link and the one in Locust Grove are more of what I'm looking for. A Costco for alcoholics if you will.
