Ok, I wasn't sure where to post this so Off Topic was the obvious choice. I just finished a week long process of fixing my credit card that was magically getting extra charges on it. They started out small, with 1 and 2 dollar charges, and with the wife using her card to do small shopping (bad idea) I over looked them at first. Then on Thanksgiving day nonetheless I was hanging out in my uncles media room checking over a few things online when I went to the checking and credit accounts. I started seeing all of these weird charges from diet retailers, and budget savers. I called my credit card comapany right away, and they flagged all of the items and cancelled the card. Well I got a call today and they think that it may have been linked to a purchase on either denniskirk.com or globalgolf.com , but they couldn't nail it down to one exact site. I'm not going to start wearing sandwich signs against either store, but I want everyone to be aware of it, and hopefully everyone else will take a little more precaution than I did. I got very lucky though for the most part. The total charges were only about 100 bucks, but any amount is bad. Just thought I'd share it.
