Would you take Sundin in trade???

It was the Canuck checking line that scored 3 goals tonight.

May be we would throw in a few Loonies to seal the deal!!!

I won't even respond to that question.

Bryan Little is having a tremendous year. He's scoring just about all of Atlanta's goals.

Datsyuk- 39games 17g - 28a - 45pts - +17
Little - 40games 19g - 13a - 32pts - 0 (He's about the only Thrasher that's not a minus)

Ok I know I don't keep up with hockey as much as some of the rest of you, but I saw this on ESPN this morning. Jarrko decided to take a bite out of Andrew Peters finger. All I can say is Why? Why would you bite the guy? Would hitting him be a little more of the norm? Oh well whatever flouts his boat...

Well, I hope last night's game was not the new Canucks with Sundin.

Sundin scores his first, but could not stay with San Jose in the third.

I thought the Canucks stunk when they gave up 6, Atlanta gave up 8!!!

You don't even need to tell me how awful the Thrashers are. They're bad, real bad. It's really hard seeing them play right now. In the 9yr's of their existance they've always been a bad defensive team.

SJ is playing on all cylinders right now. Maybe a SJ-DET western conference final this year????

The best thing about the Thrasher's not playing tonight is that they can't possibly loose.

Canucks are playing PPV tonight.
I gave up buying the PPV packages as most were bad games.

I choose your favorite Red Wing Player for my pool this week.
So if Pavel does not perform......

A friend loaned me his copy of "Hockey Chronicle", a year by year history of
the NHL. 1900-2006/07. 700 pages of facts, I am up to 1962.

A few good stories in it.

Pavel shouldn't dissappoint........Mr. Fantasy Hockey dude.

I still don't see how goalies weren't killed my pucks back then. How can you not wear a mask & play goalie. Did nobody ever roof the puck back then or what?

Nobody played with curved blades yet and the trainer kept some thread and needle behind the bench.

Vinnie LeCavalier trade rumors are swirling. He may end up in Montreal after it's over.

I also hear the Coyotes are in financial trouble. They should just move them back to Winnipeg.

Nashville is losing $30,000,000 a year.

As for Goalies, in the early days, teams only carried 1 goalie.
If they needed a replacement, they came off the bench or from behind the bench.

The player today may be more skilled but were some of those old timers tough.

Thrashers lose to the Mighty Senators, give me a break already.

Detroit 4-3 over the Ducks in a good one last night.

Datsyuk +2 with 2 assists & the game winning setup...............Man that's an off night for him. Sorry.

BTW: Here's an interesting stat that I came across today that I didn't know. ALL TIME FRANCHISE WINS TOTALS.

FRANCHISE WINS
1 Montreal - 3005
2 Boston - 2700
3 Detroit - 2551
3 Toronto - 2551

STANLEY CUPS
1 Montreal 23
2 Toronto 13
3 Detroit 11
4 Boston 5

The Rangers were having the same problems back in the old days as they have now.
Just can not seem to get the right players to work on the same page.
Of course 38 years and the Canucks don't have a cup!!

Luongo is coming back tonight, Salo is close and so is Taylor P.

Hopefully we will have a turn around!!!
