Nice comeback win. Looks like your in the 5th spot for the playoffs at the moment. Your team seems to be playing much better lately.

The wings responded with 5-0 win after their last debacle. Osgood got his first shutout of the year. Hopefully this will give him some confidence. Hossa left on a stretcher after going head first into the boards. Appartently he's OK. Thank God.

Looks like Calgary is serious about the run for the playoffs.

Vanek came back after 3 weeks off with a broken jaw... The Sabres responded by beating Montreal 5-1!! Still tied for ninth with the Hurricanes though.. These guys love to keep me on the edge of my seat!!

Went to the game last night. Sabres looked great against "The Great One's" team, beating them 5-1. Calgary didn't help us out at all by rolling over and playing dead against Carolina.. losing 6-1. Two points separate teams 5 through 10. Should be an interesting couple of weeks around here.

I have some Calgary players in this weeks pool.
Figures they would tank.

What in the world???? Talk about hot or cold. 8-2 loss the the Blue Jackets. We outshoot them 46-28 and loose by 6 goals.

We're not winning any cup this year with the two goalies that we have. Just plain pitaful!

Me & my two sons were at that game last night. Yeah it was 5-0 with 3 minutes left when we headed out. Then I heard in the parking garage that the Caps had scored. So no shutout. Lehtenon was standing on his head all game. But the Caps hit the post 3 times and had several chances in front of the net, they just couldn't get one past. Plus our best player Kovalchuk didn't even play because of an injury.

So the Thrashers have just won a TEAM RECORD 6 straight victories. Too bad there still 15 points out of the last playoff spot!

Where was this kind of play 2 months ago guys?????

I hope Marty makes the mark. He is my favorite player in the league.

The guy has been consistently great his whole career. The thing about him is that he's really boring to watch. That's actually a complement because he's so sound and he doesn't flop around. He just really, really good. He's like the goalie version of Nicklas Lidstrom. Always in the right position, rarely makes a mistake and makes it look sooooo easy.

Congrats, you've earned it Marty!

You can say that again. 3 more shutouts and he will hold the record for the most. He is a rock.

The wheels have completely fell of the Sabres wagon. They're done. Gotta make some moves in the off season. I hate to say it because I like Ruff so much. It may be time for a new coach....

I'm not happy with the Redwings Goalie play or Penalty Kill. Both are subpar.................yet the have the leagues best record. How do they do this seemingly every year? NHL Record 9th consectutive 100 point season.

What is happening to Detroit? I cant believe they lost to the Islanders then to the Predators tonight. They are going to screw around and let the Sharks win the President's Trophy.

The Wings play down to the competetion. Honestly they're bored and are ready for the playoffs to start and their playing teams like Nashville that are fighting for a playoff spot. I could care less about the President's trophy. It's meaningless unless you make it to the Finals.

However I am not happy with our goalies or our inability to kill off penalties. Both of those things are crucial when playoff hockey starts. We're going to have to outscore everybody to win.
