The Redwings just lost their 5th in a row. Mid season malaise! It's time to wake up boys!!!!!!

Canucks won!!!!

Up 2-0, they give up 2 goals in 25 seconds in the second period.
Give up a power play goal in the 3rd, then got lucky and scored short handed.

I was watching the fans in the stands, were they down in the dumps, figured, like me, they would give it away again.

Winning ugly is still a win. The Wings won ugly over the Blues two nights ago to snap a five game streak. Got to take the win & move on. Try to build some positive momentum.

I'm going to the Sabres/Maple Leafs game tonight.. They never seem to play that well after the west coast swing... Hopefully Miller will be standing on his head tonight.

Miller's a good goalie. I remember watching him at Michigan State. It's always tough for ANY team to play well the first game back from a long west coast trip. If you can at least get it to overtime and get one point your doing pretty good.

Well they made it look easy tonight against the Leafs... Vanek hat trick.. Miller shutout... All in all it was a very entertaining win

Gotta love that!

Well that's two ugly wins in a row for the Wings. They're not going far in the playoffs this year if they dont' start clamping down defensively.

Also I don't know if you caught any of the highlights but Stafford's goal was a thing of beauty as well

At one point in the 2nd period the Canucks were up 6-0 against the Blackhawks.

I had to go kick the TV to make sure I was watching the right game!!!!

LOL! Same here Blackie. I turned on the TV halfway through the 1st period and saw 3-0. I told Sarah, and she says, "since we haven't eaten yet, you wanna go to the pub and watch it on the big screen". We grabbed our jackets and off we went.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Great form on the power plays. Have to admit as Chicago turned on the heat and started closing the gap, I wondered how I was going to feel after the knuckleheads gave up the game. Fortunately the gap was larger than the time left on the clock.

And Ohland had me ranting again in the third. I can almost set my watch to his taking stupid penalties at exactly the wrong time.

Hopefully they got their Mojo back.

Wings look to have righted the ship. 8-3 win yesterday & 3-0 shutout at Pittsburgh today. Holmstrom's out with a hernia surgery, hopefully he'll be ready for the playoffs. Conklin shut-out his old team as well today.

Vanek's jaw is broke & out for a month or something I read. Is that true? What happened? Isn't he your best offensive player?

He caught a puck in the face Saturday night against Ottawa... Not a good time (not that any time is good) for him to go down.

Canucks beat the Blues 6-4.
H. Sedin misses 2 empty nets late in the 3rd, I thought the Blues would tie it!!!

Sundin, Kessler and Demitry are sure getting points in the last 3 games.

1 Road game down, 7 left.

The Wings are rollin' again.

They've reunited Datsyuk with Zetterberg and there tearing it up. Babcock had them on different lines all year to spread out he scoring but now he's gone back to them playing together. Last night they both had 2g 1a each. We have both Holmstrom & Fraznen out with injuries right now but every team is dealing with that at this point in the season.

Calgary was hot, so I picked them for my Pool that week, they tanked.
When Detroit was hot I picked them, they tanked.
So if you want a team to loose, just have me pick them for the pool.
Having said that I gained 8,000 positios last night.
San Jose, Detroit and Kessler from Vancouver this week.

Go ahead and pick my second team, The Thrashers. It's pretty pointless now anyway. We might as well try to get the #1 pick in the draft next year.

FYI: As long as Datsyuk & Zetterberg on playing together on the same line you can't go wrong.
