The new season started with little fanfare last Tuesday at 10:00 pm.

I thought it was a good kick off. Anybody else?

It also served as a showcase to prep you for Sons of Anarchy showing the next night at ten also. Sons was decent. Not bad. Sometimes a season gets better as it goes along....or worse. My biggest problem or gripe...is about the characters....You weren't really given a good reason to care about them. So we'll see how that goes.

But The Shield....damn shame it's the last season. They've got so many story lines they could explore. Bah...I guess it's better to go out on top, than wait around for the show to "jump the shark".

Good show but I only catch the odd episode.

Prison Break has really gotten good (is that proper engrish?) . Like most shows the supporting cast are the best actors... T-Bag, Mahone, Brad Bellick.

I've gotta start recording The Shield, I used to watch it all the time.
I watched the first episode of Son's of Anarchy the other day.
It looks like it might be good. Peg Bundy's still hot

1 hour and 7 minutes until The Shield, after it starts, you are all dead to me for 1 hour.

Son of Anarchy was ok, I'll give it a chance to grow on me.

I have to tip my hat to the writers, they do a pretty good job of making you root for a really bad guy.

The writers make you care about the characters and that's what hooked my wife and I on the show.

This biker show....eh.......I could really give a rat's ass about the characters at this point.

Some other F/X shows I like, (and missed this year due to the writer's strike). Rescue Me and The Riches.

Didn't care for that thief show a couple of seasons back. Seemed like a rip-off of the movie "Heat". First couple of shows were good, and then just went down hill from there.

Hopefully, the biker thing get's it in gear soon. But, bikers must've been in vogue in Hollywood this year, because HBO is planning on rolling out a Soprano's like biker show this season also.

Anybody see "True Blood" Sunday? I caught it before the season premiere of Entourage.

The guy in the Shield who is the partner (Walt Goggins) used to be in my class when I grew up. He was in drama class alot and a bunch of people used to rag him about it. Too funny now. He seems to be doing pretty good now with the drama huh?

I never got into "The Shield." Watched it once or twice and thought it was not very good. Guess I didn't like the good guys being that bad. Looking back now I probably should have hung on a little longer. With that in mind I find it strange now that my favorite show is Dexter on Showtime about a serial killer cop. A fascinating story line.

I was the same way..Didn't get into it until the end of the second season..Then I went back and watched every episode over a weekend...Nothing like a good marathon

I'm with you man.

I had a friend pester the hell out of me to watch the show. I kept putting it off. Finally, I picked it up at the beginning of a season, and was hooked immediately.

I had to go back and catch up.

I LOVE DEXTER!!!! Pete rolls his eyes at me when I get excited about Dexter coming on.

I also like Fringe. It's that new si-fi show by the creators of Lost.

We watched the first season of Dexter on regular TV. Last month we upgraded our cable and now get Showtime. It took a while but I ran across season two of Dexter in the Showtime "On Demand" section. When we returned from vacation a few days ago I watched the last three episodes all in one night. The ending to the last show was eerie, almost chilling.

I can hardly wait for the next season to start.
