I met up with GeorgiaRoller on the 4th and went for a ride down to Pine Mountain. I took a couple of photos along the journey and figured I'd share. He is a pretty cool guy. We rode about 200 miles. All together a good ride. Enjoy!

Also I would like to send out a prayer request. This guy who I went to school with was killed on the 5th in a motorcyle accident. I wasn't close friends with him or anything we just kinda knew each other. I just would like for everyone to pray for his family to get through this tough time. He was either 18 or 19, so sad to see such a young person die. Its definitely a reminder to be safe for me.

EDIT: I will get the pictures up as soon as I can. It is being difficult as of right now.
Just have to say it!!!

Can't wait to see the pics.

Sorry to hear about your friend's death... his family is in our prayers.

I did a nice little 250 mile ride with my father-in-law on the 5th.

For anyone who rides in Oregon, Aufderheide Memorial Highway (Hwy 19) has to be among the top rides in the state! Absolutely glorious twisties and totally "in the zone" riding.
We had the famous broasted chicken at Manleys restaurant in Crescent Lake and then headed home.

Here's the map.
McKenzie Hwy, Aufderheide and Willamette Pass to Crescent
and here's the terrain map

Ok, they are there now. I had to re-size them. Never had to do that before.

Default Great Ride!

First of all let me say sorry for the loss of your friend. It is always a reminder to ride safe, defensive and stay alert at all times. The goal of every ride should be to come home safely first and foremost!

I also enjoyed meeting up with you and riding. I had a really good time and the scenery was great. As I was mentioning to you we'll do another ride with alittle more time to plan and maybe we can get 3 or 4 more Mid-GA., riders to come along as well.

Take care and I hope everything works out for you in becoming a fireman!
