Default Replacement tires

Seeing the Hammer has 7500 miles on it now. The rear is getting a little slick.
So I have been looking for tires. The best price at the dealer is $229. The best price online is $149! This is for a 250/40/18. Dunlops
The source is motorcycle-superstore.com Has anyone procured tires from them? Shipping is free of $75
Give me your thoughts.

Both front and rear are going to be about the price of one from the dealer. These are factory replacement brands.

Be careful with some of the on-line stores. I have heard of several people getting ripped by them in terms of getting 2nd grade tires. Some not wanting to balance, some not quite as round as they should be.

Maybe try Cycle-Gear. Cycle Gear - Motorcycle Apparel, Parts and Accessories

Seems they have some in your area. The stores I deal with locally will price match their on-line prices and sometimes the tires are on sale in the store also. Every week they have some sort of sale and some sort of managers special.

Check their on-line prices nad then call your store in your area. I saw an El-Cajon store which I thought was not too far from you. Plus they mount and balance tires too with non-damaging rim equipment. Plus if you are not happy they have a guarantee and if they come in damaged you can tell the store to get it right.

Hope that helps bro.

I have bought several things from Motorcycle Superstore, just not tires.

They seem very knowledgeable and are very polite. I haven't had any bad experences with them at all.

Hope this helps......................

I just recently purchased Pirellis Route 66 from them w/free shipping, couldn't be happier.

saved a couple hundred bucks, even with the local dealer doing install .
