| In about 2 and a half weeks, my lovely wife and I are heading south..waaay south. We're taking our annual road/camping trip down to california. We take the car because of the gear we bring and camp along the coast from Newport OR, down to San Fran...and then who knows where. The question is...i want to hit a couple motorcycle shops, the wife needs gear and so do I. Are there any stores or dealerships that are a MUST see along the way? From Washington, Oregon to Cali, if you're looking to spend some hard earned dollars on gear/tires, that kind of thing...is there someplace i should stop and see? Canadian prices are completely criminal...to put this in perspective...a 130/90/16 Metzeler front Tire for my M is between 104 and 120 in the us (online pricing). It's $209 here!!!! Let me know your thoughts. Cheers

| The price difference is from the Canadian Intellect Tax. It works like a credit score. The higher it is, the less you pay.

| Muscle Biker ![]() | When I was in the San Francisco area, I was looking for some riding jeans. I ended up at a shop in San Jose - Road Rider Motorcycle Accessories. They were well stocked - I was sufficiently impressed. And when you're down there, a visit to the Arlen Ness showroom in Livermore is also recommended. They have Victories, Harleys and lots of customs, along with a small "museum" of customs that they've built. It's not really big, but very shiny!
