|  1970-ish garden tiller repair help
So Dad handed me the AMF tiller he and I have been using as long as I can remember. It started leaking gear oil out the tine shaft seals. After pulling the tine sleeves and felt gaskets, I pulled a castle nut off the left-hand side. The bearing is now exposed, but I can't get the shaft out. The leaky seal is on the right, where the bushing is cast into the housing. From left to right, these images are: whole tiller, front of gearbox, right side of gearbox, left side of gearbox. Here's the parts diagram. Thanks in advance for any tips. |
