Anyone know of a way to protect aftermarket pegs from a rash if they don't have a warning nub, bolt, etc? I've recently put on my new Kuryakyn SwingWings and love them but have found myself very hesitant to lean in corners like I used to for fear of mangling my new pegs. I used to drag the stockers all the time. On one hand, I've slowed down some so it's not that bad, right? On the other, I don't want to condition myself to avoid the extreme lean in case I need it at some point. I figure someone has seen some type of teflon coated (or something similarly resistant to destruction) sticky for the point that's likely to scrape but haven't been able to find anything. I've considered drilling and tapping a place for my stock feelers but would rather not do that to my new pegs just yet. Any ideas?? |
