I just got my official Stearns County stormspotter number. I've been meaning to do the training for a number of years, but always seemed to miss the local classes. I had advanced meteorology in college, so it was something of a refresher. I was a bit surprised at the level of information they presented to potential newcomers to weather science, though. It was a lot to swallow in two hours even to me. I'd be glad to hear any of your 'spotting stories and tips.  |
