Back about eighteen hundred and some,
A Louisiana couple had a red-headed son.
No name suited him; Jim, Jack or Joe,
So they just called him Billy Bayou.

I always look at the window air conditioner and think "how do you power that off of a car's electrical system?"

This is my 100th post. I wonder if it will change my status as "Seat Tester?"

keep going, it'll change to all sorts of things.

including "want's a new title."

where the apostrophe enters that sentence, I don't know.

I understand that, but even a small a/c unit draws 5 amps @ 120 volts. That's 600 watts off an automobile alternator that maybe has 600 watts with the headlights off, the radio off, and no other gizmos running.

I don't know....

After the Hurricanes (my area got hit with four of them a few years ago), there was some pretty innovative stuff going on with inverters since generators were in short supply.

Back about eighteen hundred and some,
A Louisiana couple had a red-headed son.
No name suited him; Jim, Jack or Joe,
So they just called him Billy Bayou.

Billy, Billy Bayou, watch where you go,
If you're walkin' on quicksand, walk slow.
Billy, Billy Bayou, watch what you say,
A pretty girl'll get you one of these days.
