Well.... good morning all, took the dog out for a wee walk this morning 07.30.. (Yep! had a long lie this morning! ) and had to go back in and change my rugby shirt for a t-shirt, 'coz it's SCORCHIO!

And it looks like it is going to be perfect for the Edinburgh Motorcyle rally this weekend... which Anne & I will be attending.

So, have a great weekend, I'll see y'all Monday

Good morning. I too didn't go to bed as early as I would have liked. Two days in a row I've gone to bed after 1 in the morning and I get up at 6 for work. My old bones can't take it much longer

Nice weather today, albeit hot.

Happy Monday!

Well, what a weekend. The weather was scorching (except for sunday) when we ended up packing up from the rally and travelling home in the pishing rain, it was so heavy we were stuck to about 45-50 even on the motorway and through all that.... we were still smiling!

The festival was brilliant, a laid back convivial atmosphere, excellent bands played all weekend, a turnout of 5-600 people (it was one of the smaller local rallies). Friday night we were up 'till 4am up again at 11am out for a wee ride, Saturday up 'till 6am up again at 11.30 ready to pack up and go home.
We met up with some people from one of our local forums and it was a blast - really good company.

I took some pictures, I'll get them posted so you can have a look.

Dude, is it just me, or is this round of hot weather TOTALLY bearable? I mean, maybe the humidity has been reasonable or something, but it just seems to me that I'm not miserable.

It could have something to do with my extreme HATRED of cold weather last winter.

Think of them as ... avoidance practice.

Yeah it's not too bad, I've noticed that too.

My morning commute was awesome, felt great.

The one I hate is my ride to/from lunch at around 12:30'ish I need a mesh jacket for summer

LOL..you should hear them though. They are deafening and it seems like they are busy all night too, as well as in the daytime.

Yep. A couple of weeks ago, back when it was 40 in the morning and 80 at lunch, I was zipping liners in and out like no one's business. Everytime I rode, I would either zip the liner in or take it out.
