LOL yeah it seems that way huh?

Every year I've gone down it's been nice weather actually, just unlucky some days.

The rain just started, and is predicted to hang around for at least the next 4 days...

Good morning, TGIF. I think winter is coming back on, it was 55 this morning. It's getting colder, not warmer. Global warming must be happening someplace else, not here.

Its 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Normal for July and Aug. here in the Valley.
We are 10 degrees warmer than Vancouver which is on the Coast.
This area is a big producer of Raspberries, Blueberries, Grapes.

If I step across the 2' between 0 Ave, Canada and Boundry Road, US, I will find myself surronded by these white SUV's with US Border Patrol on them.
No fence.

So to cross that 2', I drive a couple of blocks and enter the line up at the 264th Ave crossing, sometimes the lineup goes all the way back to 16th Ave,
45 minutes to an 1 hour or more.

Long weekends can be worse.

So, early mornings, during the week, is best for crossing at this time of year.

High of 89F today.

Spent a couple of hours on the road. Motorcycle season is here.
Saw a few hundred bikes. Most were Cruisers.

Decided to save a few bucks and do my own oil change.
Had enough brains to buy a filter wrench for the new filter, too bad I did not get one for the OEM filter!!!

Damn, an old screw driver comes in handy!!!

Happy Monday everyone, 48F cool & clear, bliss...

Went on the ride out through Dukes pass last week started out really well, great crowd however, r'send stepped out TWICE on the pass shook my bottle a wee bit, still got up to Loch Katrine and it had just started raining the light came in quite a lot as well, so instead of carrying on with the circle route we went to Callendar and back through Aberfoyle. Got home at very dark o'clock cold, wet, tired but very HAPPY!

It's 9:15 a.m. and it's already 75 and clear here. It's supposed to get to about 90 today, which is about 13 degrees cooler than the past few days so I'm looking forward to it. I rode in 105 degree weather over the weekend....on a black bike with black gear it gets quite uncomfortable so I'm definitely glad to see cooler temperatures this week.

I'm here to tell you that every stoner, half-wit, and jack-off that thought they were funny would come in use some variation of that phrase. Like we never heard it before........ By 11:00 p.m. on a Friday night, after the first round of drunks, stoners, and high-schoolers (and combinations thereof) unloaded their wit, it was all you could take not to smash the next guy that said something, in the face, with a hot coffee pot. After a while, I guess I just developed the thousand yard stare, and went about my tasks like an automaton.

Good morning folks. I had allergy so bad this morning I couldn't ride in on the bike. Sneezing your head off in a full face helmet isn't good.
