Good morning everybody !! Don't know why I am so happy, winds are 35 mph, storms forecast, can't ride, and I have been sneezing my head off from allergy.

'Sup.

A quick update:

-Very busy at work, althought the load has slowed back to normal now.
-Sold my house
-Am looking at buying another one (actually am looking at several)
-Saved a bird's life (nice story, tell it later)
-Scraped a boot. Nice. Wasn't even trying. A couple of weeks ago I entered a left-hand corner on the way home from work. I had been a 'good boy' all day on my bike, just riding like I drive. I figured I'd hit one corner near the house to stifle the mumblings of that elfen Evel Knievel that haunts every sport biker's shoulder whispering in his or her ear to do something fun. As I came into the lean, I saw lots of grit and cinder that was left over from winter on the outside edge of the corner. No problem, I'll just feed in more lean angle. Suddenly, scrapage. Schweet. I know the rest of y'all probably scrape all the time. I don't. I'm only 165 pounds, and the Bandit's got lots of clearance (unlike a cruiser), so I had it cranked over pretty far on that one.

Woot. Boot scraping is fun kinda .... it's nice to know you leaned hard, it's kinda jolting though... scared me the first time it happened.

Mornin...

Rain here, no riding.

But... only a 4 day week for me this week. I took Friday off. It's Memphis In May BBQ time this weekend ( Thu/Fri/Sat ). For those that don't know what it is, it's a huge international BBQ competition held once a year in downtown Memphis. It spans an entire week ( but the actual BBQ eating for the public doesn't occur until Thu/Fri/Sat ). Without a doubt it's the best pork BBQ you will ever find.

My father is on a team. They place in the top 10 (out of over 100 teams) every year. Even the worst team is better than any restaurant you will find (IMHO).

My brother is also coming down from Indiana to visit ( he cooks w/ my father every year for the competition ) so I'll be visiting him too.
