Happy Monday all, well my weekend of self abuse came to an abrupt halt at 4.30pm Friday. Anne called her wee trip off as she had gone down with a kidney infection. Poor kid. Still we did have a very pleasant weekend and Nobby (The guy who I was 'sposed to go out riding with on Sunday) cried off, "It might rain"... Hell's teeth it's %%%%ing Scotland what does he expect a subtropical heatwave!

Ah! Hang on I have just realised, he has just bought himself a Harley, they're not waterproof are they?

Oh well, back on track, it's 54F cloudy good chance of rain, perfect day for riding.

53F cloudy, high 68.

Week end forecast is for clear and Sunny days, including our July 1st holiday.
We are having a big bash here this year.
Canada Day
Province of BC's 150th birthday
25th Birthday of our park( which began as a park for service people)
Still some 2nd war vets. here. Don served from 39 to 46 as a dispatch rider on a Harley, sometimes used an Indian.

It is a family day, small parade, our grandchildren and our kids.
Expect to serve over 300 for dinner.
We have games for the kids, a Dunk Tank for our fav. park people, free ice cream, popcorn, a live band and dinner.
Starts at Noon ends around 7.

Enjoyed it last year.

Ya know, since I totally wankered out on the group ride in Gatlinburg here recently we need to plan on a smaller group ride the next time I am up close to yours and Landry's neck of the woods. That would be cool!
