Oops, Gatlinburg that is. Anybody done the free vacation to Gatlinburg but you have to listen to the 2 hour spill with a group of other cheap-a$$ vacationers about timeshares and then you blow them off and have fun? We did it last weekend for 3 days/two nights. We also won two vacations (no strings attached or spills to sit through) to Florida. We also got a third vacation but it requires another 2 hour spill if we go. In addition, we got two $25 gift cards to Bass Pro Shop, a $100 no strings attached Visa card and a $30 gift certificate that we used at Olive Garden. We spent the $100 card shopping. So it cost us $80 in gas (round trip), plus food. We won the two vacations and the $30 dinner certificate for contests at the 2 hour spill we went to. The first one we didn't know was a contest. When you get there, you fill out some paperwork and it has some sheets to list referrals like family and friends that they might want to offer their product. My wife wrote down the most referrals of everyone in the group. Of course, a few of the names were bogus. So during the spill, they announced the winner of the most referrals and we got one free vacation with no spill. Then they did this little game that is actually a simple credit capacity check in disguise. They have everyone pull out all of their credit cards, husband and wife, and whoever has the most "5"s total with all of their credit cards won a 5 day/4 night vacation to Florida, no strings attached. Well, we had 26 "5"s between all of her cards and mine and we won that vacation and the $30 dinner card. The $100 Visa card was an automatic gift just for coming. We signed up for the vacation through an offer at Bass Pro Shop in Nashville back in January and we got the two $25 gift cards for just signing up. We made out pretty good. Anyone else taken advantage of this yet? |
