Exclamation rumors

hey has anyone heard of a rumor that if you get bumped from behind do not get out because the person might shoot you? i have received many text that said a gang initiation is to bump people from behind and when the person gets out to shoot them. I live in la but i have heard that its all around the U.S. to read more about it go to Urban Legends Reference Pages and type in ms 13 car bump

I think that this is probably a case of using common sense.

If the "accident" is obviously staged (you're alone, there is very light "bump" to your car in a deserted area where the other driver obviously had no reason to hit you), then get on your cell phone and head for the next police station.

There are plenty of cases of carjacking - this %%%% has even made it to Europe, with cases of carjacking taking place in southern France. One way to get the driver out of the car is to "stage" an accident. But if you're going to jack the car, you don't want it damaged, so they won't hit you hard.

FWIW, I live in Memphis, which is heavily populated with gangs. We haven't had any incidences of people being found dead in traffic that would indicate that this threat is a viable one.

It is, however, sound advice for a lady NOT to hop out of the car in the night after a minor rear-ender. It would seem to me that an attacker might use this scheme now that it has become a chain email topic.

I've done that in a car before. The truckers laugh, though. Makes it hard to finish.

HORRIBLE image.

Though, one time on a 10 hour drive at night by myself I considered it just to stay awake.

Scott, talking to a friend: "Hi, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend. Her name is Rosy. Rosy Palm. She's a masseuse. She specializes in the 5-finger massage technique."

Yes it is true!!!! Also do not flash your brights at anyone that does not have there headlights on and it is dark outside, they will turn around follow you and beat you!!!! Also watch everything around because they can also run you off the road or force you to stop by using three cars!!(One pulls in front of you and one pulls up behind you and the othe one pulls up along side of you forcing you to stop. What happens after that you never know, they could just kill you,or beat you, or just throw you out of the car and steal the car.) Be safe and whenever you get into an accident from behind(if you have a cell phone)call the cops or just stay in the car until hopefully a cop comes.

One Glock beats 4 gang members everytime. Living in fear isn't living at all.

First grab the weapon (and know how to use it), the rest will take care of itself.

(Sorry, gun-control nuts. But it's a fact, fear breeds crime.)
