So the weather here in Dallas has turned crap, roads are icing over and normally I would have left early and headed home, but not today. Today my youngest if flying back from California, and is scheduled to arrive at 7:30pm. So instead of trying to make it home and then trying to get to the airport I decided to wait here since I am much closer to the Airport from here then at home.

Right now the flight is on time but I suspect that by about 6:00 pm that will change. By then the ice will have had time to start wreaking havoc on the airport and the whole system will come to a screeching halt thus backing everything up.

It’s gonna be a long night…

At least there is a couch in the women’s restroom I can catch a nap on.

On topic tho, yeah that sucks man. That snow/ice is heading here and gonna hit tomorrow.

The daughter called awhile ago from her layover in Phoenix. She is sicker then a dog and sunburned to the point she had to wear shorts for the trip home.

So on the way to the airport I need to stop and pick up some Pepto, bags for her to puke in, and air freshener.

I should also park some distance from the terminal. That way the Pepto will have time to work and the cold will put the fire out on her sunburn.
