I talked to one of my guitar playin' buddies, He has been asked to participate in a Saxon Tribute Band down in Texas. I was laughing my ass off! Ummm . . . I guess they have some gigs lines up. He was trying to get me in as the bass player (they already had someone - thank goodness).

I have friends in Def Leppard, SRV, and other tribute bands, and they do pretty well. But SAXON?!?!?!

Too funny. I guess we'll see how it goes for them :P I'll go to cheer them on and drink some beer I suppose!

Never heard of Saxon. What did they play?

80's metal. They were fairly hard back then, not the "bubble gum metal" like Poison, Slaughter, Ratt etc.

You for sure do!! I didn't go see it in the theatre because I thought the trailers looked kind of stupid, and I'm not a big fan of Jennifer Aniston in movies...but I rented it and lOVED it. I've probably seen it about 30 times now.

Don't listen to her Nut. She's drunk and doesn't know what she's saying. Don't talk about it tomorrow, she won't want to remember it.

Hell, all of my friends told me to watch it years ago. One fo these days I will.

School of Rock is another good one.
