Default digital recorder

I am president of a small club, who has the problem of a secretary that doesn't always show up.

To deal with this situation, I am looking around for a simple digital recorder, so I can run the meeting and record the notes and write up the newsletter later on.

Right now there is a model from Jensen that I'm eyeing up at a cost of about $30. I wouldn't plan to spend much over $50, as I don't need anything terribly fancy.

any input here would be appreciated.

thanks

If you have an ipod, you can get a microphone for it and record on it, then transfer the files back to your computer. I believe some digital recorders offer the same feature but I'm not sure.

I think any of them will do what you want. I have a Sony I paid $40.00 for and it works fine.

Get a new secretary. Thats what I'd do.
