So it was something else besides being pretty that they got thrown off? I wondered why, they weren't all that good looking to start with.

As usual some trash starts an issue when they are the original cause of the situation. Just looking for some easy cash.

"I was discriminated because of my looks". I don't think so. There's more to it then what they say happened. As amvince stated, they just want to get some cash.

More like, "I'm incredibly shallow and manipulative because of my looks."

It's much easier to believe rumors than get to the truth. It keeps Snopes in business! I know I've been pointed to Snopes when I've gone off half cocked. But then, I wonder where Snopes gets its information. Has anyone else wondered?

I have, what makes them the end-all to true info? Never believe ANYTHING you read on the internet, lol.

Some how the idea of drinking a beer while waiting to get rid of the last few beer, just seems like an accident waiting to happen!!!
Was it a long line???

I read the MSNBC version of this story yesterday, and it caused me to think. Especially, the part about the girl waiting to use the bathroom.

I don't know how to spin this as being endemic to Tampa. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. Maybe it's just a symptom of that age group, or their feelings of entitlement. But it reminded me of a function my wife, I and our friends attended in December. It was a pub crawl for charity. Most of you know the drill. Go to a bar...hang out for a specific amount of time, the host anounces the next location, and off you go.

Two or three separate occasions, I was approached by young ladies around that age, and not asked, but rather was told, that I need to move. Why you might ask? "Because, um..this is like, a bar you know, and it's not like uh, cool to hang out at the bar. You need to like get your drinks and move. That's what everybody does. They get their drinks at the bar and leave."

I just responded with a "Really???" "Wow...I might be gettin' old but when did this shift in the cosmos happen? Since time on end, people came to bars and parked their asses at them and ordered drinks. Did the hospitality industry suddenly issue an order or memo that I'm unaware of? Really? What am I missing here? Because, if you just needed a drink, a simple "Excuse me, can I get in there to order a drink?" would've worked. That's how we did it in my day. Hell.....We probably would've bought you a drink for the hell of it."

I was at a Damn Yankees concert once. As I arrived at my aisle seat, I found a teenaged girl in it. I asked her to move and she informed me that I should "be cool," and that "people just sit wherever at these things," as if I'd never been to as concert before. Easy to say when you're sitting in someone's aisle seat I guess.

Rather than make an issue, I moved to the inside and got a seat. During the concert, one of these adjustable douche spouts was unlucky enough to have her purse fall on the ground . . . in front of me.

I danced and I danced with a smile on my face . . . on her purse.

I still smile when I recall the look on her face when she realized that SHE now needed ME to do the right thing.

Too bad she didn't say something to me. I could have educated her with, "Oh, it's okay douchebag . . . people just dance on whatever at these things. Be cool."

I don't know what's more amusing.

You dancing on her purse.

Or the simple fact that you were actually DANCING at a Damn Yankees concert!!!!

Oh, I don't actually "dance" ever unless I'm trying to goof off for the 3 year old. I suppose I should clarify: By "dance," I mean (basically) "stand on, smush, grind, and filthify."
