Their parents have failed in their job of raising the kids, and are more than likely divorced and in jail somewhere themselves. No discipline in the schools or in the home, and never taught to have responsibility for their actions.

Thats why when I'm in Wal Mart and I walk past a kid.. I smack him in the back of the head for the hell of it.. I figured he's done something to deserve it somewhere...

At the risk of getting flamed here, FRY both of them, set an example, 75 years is too leanient. Of course, they'll probably get probation after juevenille jail.

I, as many on here, can say we were a little wild as teens, but my God, this was just outright disrespectful to your fellow man/woman.

An example has to be set now!

actually they'll probably get probation or some crap like that because the legal system is crap... throw them in a cell, never let them out IMO

what outraged you, the death penalty? so sorry.
But when they do get probation, other dirtbags will not think twice before they do something equal to or worse than this.

On the other hand, if an example is made that this type of behavior is just not tolerated, these poor misunderstood teens that are just bored might think twice.

Here an idea. Lets put together in a cell with the biggest and worst behaving inmates and let them do whatever they want with these kids for the rest of the kids life. In case you don't get the idea biggest wasn't just height & weight. You could rotate the inmates in and out of the cell on a schedule say every hour or so.

Unprincipled LAWYERS are the problem.
