Question

The heat, where's the friggin' heat......I know......the colds been talked to death on this board of late.

But I seen last night where our low the night before was -7 with a high of 18-(single digit high, yep weather man lied again).....anyway, the norms are a low of 20 and a high of 40!!! Where, when!!!!!! 30 years ago I'll bet.

When I graduated from High school in MAY of '81 in Iowa, we barely wore anything under our cap and gown 'cause of the heat....heck, I remember crap loads of times where I sweated a ton in late April and May.......for quite a few years now, late May barely makes my arm pits pastey.....so I ask you where's the friggin' heat??

Come South Brother, in about two months you will get all the heat you can stand. There expecting another Summer like we had last year, if that's true, it should be in the high 80's by May and low 100's by July.

OH, and did I mention it will be like 9 yards of Hell by August with enough humidity that you will have to have SCUBA gear to breath.

[Landry steps in] Nice room! HEY, WHAT'S WITH THE TOILET? I thought we agreed we'd mark our territory with urine and eat meat right off the bone and what-not?!?

Ooooh. Disco ball. Matches my leisure suit. Can we play the Gap Band on the stereo?

( L&S silently laughs at Landry's suit as he walks around in his parachute pants and Van Halen muscle shirt. Takes note of the really cool Bee Gee's music. ) Hey Landry, cool suit bro, nice room fellas.

I think that image of Leisure Suit Landry is enough justification to keep this thread locked for eternity.

This is kind of like the game where you have to whack the gopher with the mallet, except here you have to post on one of the rant threads before they close it.

Back on topic.

I may have said this before, but what really sends me into a flat spin, is ignorant motorists, ONCE AGAIN!! this morning I had to take the car to work 'coz of ridiculously high winds, anyway I spots a bike in my rear view mirror and thought WOW! I am impressed... in this wind, anyway he passed by me not speeding, traffic was slow and when I faced forward again had the ignorant bastid in front of me not moved right into the apex of the road, to try and stop the biker! Had we stopped at that instant I think I would have given him a piece of my mind.. no, make that my fists.

The amount of times I have had motorists do that to me and sometimes so overtly they have almost hit the oncomers!

Why are these people so friggin ignorant!

I am gonna start carrying cans of whoopass in my rucksack!

/rant

Oh BTW, nice new place. Landry, loose the suit dude, you look like one of the Jackson 5...

Tricker, What time does the bar open?.....
