I work between a rubber and plastics facility; you can't hardly smell nothing over that.

The air you breathe free? Not any more.. for now on your going to have to start paying a "Breathing to Live" tax which will equate to about .24 cents a breath. There is also a small .01 cent tax added to that if your found breathing super clean quality air.

Of course this new tax will go to benefit our great country as 89.9% of this tax will go to help our congress men to fight the possible recession thats about to sweep this great land. The other 10.1% will go to aid the NAFTA super highway construction fund to unite Canada, U.S., & Mexico.

Aren't you excited??

My rant for today is while I was riding 2 days ago some asshat pulls out and makes a left turn in front of me. Now, this isn't the first time this has happened but listen to how it went down.

I make a casual left-hand turn at a stop light. I accelerate ( not fast, I don't accelerate fast in traffic, just asking for trouble ) a bit and maybe 500ft down the road this guy turns left ( going from middle turn-lane to the right side of the street ) right in front of me, going super slow. I see him with plenty of time to spare and start rapidly slowing down and giving him one of the usual 'WTF?' looks. He has the audacity to beep his horn at me and give me the 'WTF are you doing?!' look.... uhh... "Hi, I have the right of way jerkoff.".

Anyways...

Oh, and one more rant... asshats that don't know how to use their friggin blinkers!! When you're turning on or off a busy street, use your damn blinker!! I was turning left into a parking lot a few days ago. The guy in the oncoming traffic side suddenly slows down to turn right just as I'm already inching my way across the other side ( i.e. timing it to pass behind him ). Because he did this I had to HOPE he got off the road fast enough so I wouldn't get hit by oncoming traffic. If he had his blinker on, I would have known he was turning and would have just waited.

Okay I'm done for now...

This is Memphis, where two things are inevitable:

1) Turn signals will gather cobwebs; and

2) The other person will refuse to accept responsibility for their own mistakes.

When I do something stupid, I give the sheepish wave, with the head tilted slightly forward, as if to say, "Yes, yes, I'm a dumbass . . . please forgive me, I %%%%ed up." I NEVER get that in this town.

A person in this town can be driving on the wrong side of the interstate and they'd be constantly giving "the look" to every car they passed. I hate it here. Idiots.

my cousin once drove on the wrong side of the divided highway... i think that was one of 8 tickets he got that day. Three were related to the fact he was drunk... oops?

I've seen TWO cars heading the wrong direction down Highway 51, which happens to be nothing but hills. Nice feeling, passing a car going 60 mph the wrong way down the fast lane of a hilly highway.

You'd think the whole "DO NOT ENTER" thing would be their first hint. I flashed by brights at both of them. I seem to remember that one of them actually gave me the finger.

Pulled a similar stunt turning onto a on ramp sober. About midway down the 1st wrong way sign appeared.

I was about to merge onto the freeway then saw a field of brake lights; I then proceeded to back up the on ramp and go around the snarl.

the trick they like to do around here is pull out right in front of you and drive 10 under the limit.

even more remarkably, there won't be any traffic around or behind you and those asshats can't wait 3 more seconds until you pass them.
