My lab is already one person down and if he leaves that means we are short staffed which i'm all fine and dandy with. Being an arrogant %%%%% and getting everyone sick.. thanks a-hole
That's a sensitive issue man. The new guy is also trying to prove that he's dedicated to the job. It's a tough call to call in sick as a new employee.

Look at it from that angle. Or don't look at it, I don't care.

I don't see it like that... he isn't trying to prove anything.. Just arrogant and tries to prove me wrong when I've got over 2 years on him for experience...

Well, ok then. I don't know the particular circumstances in your office.

Any time I've gotten a new job, I've always tried not to call in unless I was damn near deathly-ill.

Arrogant people are the worse in my book. Those who act like they are all knowing are the ones I hate the most. I worked with this little chubby girl about a year ago who thought everything she said and done was without a doubt the best most perfect thing one could do. She gives you advice on things she knew nothing about and her arrogance was the most annoying thing I ever had to deal with..

End result she was fired a month later for not doing her job... They usually get whats coming to them one way or another.

But if all that fails just wait in the parking lot for them to come out then run them down..

Mmmmmm . . . little chubby female know-it-alls . . .

Am I the only one getting hot in here?

At the risk of appearing to follow Jeff's lead, I gotta' say he's probably right about the new guy. Arrogant bastard or not, he's probably afraid to call in sick.

A nice steaming cup of STFU works better though I hear.

While we're on this rant....

Food service/convenience store workers......that come to work sick....

I can't really %%%%% at them.....more likely they can't afford to take a day....and them effin' places are always woefully understaffed, they get treated like pariahs by their taskmasters err...bosses, if they need to take care of personal business...

I personally think this planet is way over populated.. so... lets ship a few billion people to Mars and start their own community.. that would be interesting..
