Thank the vacation for the hours of time to clear my head and realize how f'ed up my situation is right now. Do i have a stable job? yes.. But physical responses to being stressed are generally not good.

Being stressed out all the time is not at all good. I would have to make a hella lot of money X3 to put up w/ it.

and, in breaking news, Lake Delton (Wisconsin Dells big lake) is gone missing.

The earthen berm gave way after the rain caused the lake to reach flood stage and the water went over the top of the berm. Eroding it to nothing in minutes.

army corps of engineers is trying to figure out what to do.

Here's one for you... having to answer to something that you have no idea what the heck they are talking about!

Yesterday, my wife tells me that a female coworker had told someone else that her (the coworker) boyfriend knew me and that somehow him knowing me lent him some intangible credibility amongst our peers. The problem is that the coworker is not a highly respected individual due to her... uh... carnal ambitions.

Now, the way my wife sees it is that if she's saying her boyfriend knows me then I must have hung out with her and him at some point. (remember, we've been married only 18 months so running into ex's isn't all that unusual). However, I have no clue who this chic is much less her boyfriend.

So my wife worked the phone on the way to get her new bike yesterday and, it turns out, the coworker has been meeting guys online and apparently is taking this guy a little more serious. But she's afraid to admit she met him online so whammo that's were I get tossed into the whole mix.

Dear Hulk Hogan and family:

I feel compelled to compose a letter letting you know something that I feel is very important: No one cares. I mean that. No one gives a %%%%. We don't think you're special, we don't envy you, we don't want to know jack %%%% about you. We want you to go away.

We don't believe you when you say you are religious. We don't think God has a way of playing heavy-handed with "negative people." If he did, surely he'd smite a flabby, fake-tanned, washed up, pretend-to-be-a-competitive-athlete, celebrity wannabe like you . . . but he hasn't, so we know the system doesn't work like that.

Your daughter is a "Butter Face," who looks exactly like you, and your son is the kind of kid we all hate in public, especially in traffic. For our sake, I hope he never makes it out of prison. I'm not sure what to make of your wife, other than that she may very well be an exact genetic copy of you with boobs and less muscle. Whatever she is, it's obvious that you both share that fake tan %%%% you slather all over yourself to hide your hideous natural skin tone.

Just because you have (had?) a reality show doesn't mean anyone's watching. Please go away. Take your mansion, take your big mouth, take your unreasonably high opinion of yourself, all your wipe-on tanning oils and your stupid pre-torn yellow shirt and GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.

Stop defaming the guy your stupid son almost killed, stop crying crocodile tears on Larry %%%%ing King, and for the love fo God, stop going out in public. You are ugly and we just can't bear it anymore. Your services are no longer required. In short, you are being fired from public view. You are banished.

If you have any questions, %%%% off.

Landry
Cajun Commando

[EDIT] P.S. Take Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, the entire cast of Grey's Anatomy, Charo and that crazy %%%%% Denise Richards with you.

The only reality shows I watch anymore are:

Top Chef ( love this one )
So You Think You Can Dance ( Wife makes me watch it, don't ask )
Hells Kitchen ( along the same lines as Top Chef but Gordan Ramsey makes it very entertaining )

central time zone, it will normally be about this time.

Unless we're busy.

things go like that.

or in the words of John Madden "sometimes despite all the training and planning, things just happen that way."

or like watching somebody trying to wall paper fog.

got a good rant today; ex employee keeps calling for hr - who normally is not found in our office. He also won't leave any kind of message.

If some of these nitwits actually put some effort into doing the job, they wouldn't have gotten fired in the first place.

My rant today is about the county road crew that came by to repair the sides of the road, which would not have needed repair had they done it right the first time. The road is too narrow, so they added road base 2 feet on each side of the road. Now we have rocks up to the size of golf balls laying all over the road and especially in the corners, where trucks have gone by and knocked them around. I looked like a drunk coming to work, weaving in and out of them. So, after repeated calls to the county precinct, w/ no help, today I am taking off early, going home, getting on the front end loader and fixing it myself before somebody goes down.

my rant, Tim Russert is dead at 58.

Not a big fan, but he seemed like a decent guy.

Great interviewer. Sad.

My rant... Yard salers driving around the neighbourhood feeling like they can stop traffic to look at other peoples junk to determine if they want to stop or not.
