Here's a little rant:

I keep seeing the same dork riding around town with a freaking stick-on mohawk on his helmet.

Helll-loooo?!?!? The eighties called . . . they want their helmet back.

Seems like a good way to be more visible to me. That I would do it, mind...

around here, the guys tend to wear doo rags and think that's safe;

in the city,
around construction,
around other drivers who think it's all a game called "bumper cars"

Just read this on the web news.. thought it was funny.

You guys remember seeing that commercial about Life Lock and the guy that rides around in a truck with his social security number plastered on the side??

heres the AP report:

Todd Davis has dared criminals for two years to try stealing his identity: Ads for his fraud-prevention company, LifeLock, even offer his Social Security number next to his smiling mug.

Now, Lifelock customers in Maryland, New Jersey and West Virginia are suing Davis, claiming his service didn't work as promised and he knew it wouldn't, because the service had failed even him.

Attorney David Paris said he found records of other people applying for or receiving driver's licenses at least 20 times using Davis' Social Security number, though some of the applications may have been rejected because data in them didn't match what the Social Security Administration had on file.

all I can say is.... Told ya it wouldn't work...

LOL! I remember seeing those ads when I was in California. I knew it was just a matter of time...

It's sort of like walking up to a cop and saying "I'm going to rob that 7-eleven soon. But you'll never catch me."

My rant today is the rock. Went off road riding yesterday, came up to a big flooded mudhole, got off the bike to take a look see for an alternate route, and slipped and fell on my back. My tailbone connected w/ the only rock for a mile radius. Needless to say, I can't sit down, and for sure can't ride my bike. Hope it heals, since we are planning a hill country ride June 6 for 3 days.
I happen to be riding w/ a doctor, he suspects a fractured tailbone. That's just great.

Yeah, what a dumbass. The nurses at my kid's doctor's office are always hasseling me for her social security number. She's 3, WTF do they need it for? The last time I was in there it came to a head. My wife usually just blows the whole thing off, but I met it head on and asked why they needed it. The chick said it "slowed things down." I asked how and was told that "it just does." I said, "Well, obviously your office is getting paid or you wouldn't allow us another appointment." She snidely replied "Well, if she ever needs life-saving surgery, you'll have to give it to us." I let her know that if my daughter ever needed life-saving surgery I would gladly give it to her. Until then, I AM NOT.

If she needed life saving surgery I would think it would be you and not them who would take care of the paper work that would follow. That was a stupid remark on her part.

Dude, that sucks. I hurt my ass bad once falling off a bicycle on the ice as a kid (yes, I said "bicycle on the ice" . . . I never said I was a smart kid). The top of my hiney was black, blue and sore for days. AFAIK, there is no real fix for a cracked tailbone.

At least you had a manly reason for it.

I once worked with a guy who cracked his coccyx (tailbone) while straining to hard droppin' a deuce.
