Where did the term "triple tree" come from? As I still call them "triple clamps"
Is it a street bike thing? And wtf is a "jiffy stand"??, it's a "kickstand". Must be a Harley thing.

My rant for the day (the whole effin' month, actually): Spineless bastards. AKA Managers.

I was informed last night that my company had a "bad" year last year. Turnover was down for more than half of the year, and we DID'T MEET THE ANALYST'S EXPECTATIONS. As a result, we're only getting a 30% bonus, instead of the 'normal' 100%.

In other words, some asshat in a suit, who has NOTHING to do with our business, feels that we didn't meet his expectations, and as a result, gave the company a bad rating. So our stock price dropped. Thanks a bunch, asshat.

Now, the stocks I bought in January aren't worth anything, and on top of that, I'm only getting about $2500 bonus, instead of the $7500 I was expecting.

And because of our terrible numbers last year, they are now reorganizing the whole effing division, wasting even more time giving the "good ol boys" new titles instead of just going out and getting us more customer projects to work on (and increasing our real turnover and profits).

We have the same problem with our managers. Set the budget high enough that it cannot be achieved so nobody qualifies for a bonus. Smart!!

we don't have numbers to meet... just turn around times. If we get way below our turn around times we get a pat on the back. If not we get office spaced in a way. I have 3 managers, 2 consultants (doctors) in immediate talking distance to why it didn't get done.. But thankfully no TPS reports

Federal employee's, not only do they get all kinds a friggin' holidays.....turns out their charging millions to government/dept cards for personal items.....i pods/expensive clothes..etc act.....now ya can't tell me that don't hurt the tax payer.

Frig......slimy politicians don't have to pay taxes when they retire--(if I remember correctly).....and now this!!! ...I detest the government!!!
