|  Confident, yet somewhat AFRAID! Posted, previously by a member of this forum, to which I would like to THANK & give credit to: 1. New Bike Nervousness 2. False Confidence 3. Wake-Up Call 4. Maturity Let me state that I'm in phase 2 w/1,100 miles on my tach. My bike now fits me like the kevlar gloves that I wear  . Personally, I'm sorta afraid of that 3rd phase & don't know it it's actually already happened or is gonna happen because the day I bought my bike I had a friend that got his leg severed in an accident going through an intersection. So I guess my question is: Was that my WAKE-UP CALL, even though I'd never started New Bike Nervousness yet? Is it possible to experience phase 2 before phase 1?
