Default A little car and a really big moose.

This happened in Canada a few years ago. The woman driver got out of this with only a broken wrist, and probably smelling really bad.

And I worry about running into a deer.

that's a Lumina; that's not even that small a car.

But when you hit a 1800 lb moose, I guess the car is kind of small.

Poor moose.. I hate to see animals killed. They don't understand not to stare at the head lights while standing in the middle of the road. Poor guy... he prolly had a wife and little baby mooses running around and was prolly going home to be with his family but now.. daddy isn't coming home.. because he got by a cager.. poor moose family

Meese. The plural of moose is "meese," or at least around here it is.

IIRC, "meese" is plural for moose . . . "Meeses" is plural for mouse. I could be wrong on that.

On a ski trip with my uncle back in the '70's, we ( he ) hit a moose. A really big bull moose. Seems they sometimes like to lay down on the roads at night to get some of the heat from the sun heating the pavement during the day.

My uncle had a little Porsche of some type. That was pretty much it for that poor little car. Worse part, the moose got up, looked at us, gave a big huff and walked off. He was probably hurt but, he sure didn't look it. Just looked pissed that we woke him up.

You have to see one in person to believe their size. Heck, the rack on that one was bigger than the Porche.

So that's why they cancelled the Rocky and Bullwinkle show....

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a car outta my ...

Seriously, I feel bad for the animals that get hit. Especially magnificent ones like moose and elk.

Yeah, they are big and ugly. Here's another pic of the car. Looks like a head on collision, IOW he wasn't just crossing the road, he was walking down the road.

So I'm thinking that a herd of mooses would be said as many much meese? I dunno.. who named these things anyways? Could they have not come up with a better name? like ... horned cows... or something like that.

had to be some kind of French Canadian thing that gets lost in the translation.

one moose, two moose, three moose, a whole herd of moose.

One hoose, two hoose, three hoose, a whole town of hoose.
