Well, actually I do..

I collect pre-decimal British stamps

(awaits ridicule)

I have been doing so for years and now have a collection worth many (tens of) thousands of pounds.

I also started collecting the state quarters but being as I haven't been across there for four/five years it has kind of been forgotten about. I suppose I could resurrect it, could be a lot of fun..

I'm trying to get rid of stuff that I have saved over the years. I have too much sh*t laying around already. Thanks anyway. Heck, I'm 64 years old with a bad ticker so what am I going to collect now - only thing I would like to collect is more time on the clock of life.

Most of the glasses I have are from places I have visited, others friends have picked up for me.

Come on Buster, which state quarters do you need? Or what do you have already? We don't care if you only have 2. Otherwise I'll just start mailing you a buch. Also, you need to put your mailing address on this post so everyone knows where to send them.

I really like this idea of sending other members something they collect. Sure makes me feel good & brings some joy to the receiver.

Brutus, Buster? You guys don't collect anything??
Added bonus: When I went to the small post office in a village next to my home to send you those 5 lighters - the postman wanted to know if I was sending them back to Zippo to get them refurbished ( they will redo ANY lighter of theirs free ) When I told him what I was doing he said he collects anything to do with auto racing but mostly NASCAR. I told him I had a brand new Joe Camel zippo & a bunch of other stuff from the 90's & 2000's he could have. He asked if I was kidding. Within the hour I had a good size box filled with stuff and took it to him. What a happy camper he was. It was just sitting in my basement stored in a couple of boxes that I looked at about every 2 years. I told him if anything was worth BIG BUCKS he could give me something if he wanted to but otherwise - enjoy it & add it to his collection.

Hope getting these Zippo lighters doesn't make you want to start smoking again. I had to quit 12 years ago & I still get an urge a couple time a year.

I'd like to start a collection of Nighthawks, GS's, SV's...something like that! Anyone want to help me get started? I'm not interested in collecting CBR's or RR's. I'll leave those to the professional collectors! I'm an amateur.
