Default Building an electric bike

I wanted to take a second to share my little backyard project with everyone here. I have been building an all electric motorcycle for the past few months. Not a steady, every day build on it kind of thing, but a little here and a little there. Parts when the extra money is available, etc...

I started with a basic frame from a Korean 250cc cruiser. I chopped the swingarm, rear frame section, and backbone out, built my own single-tube backbone and modified (widened and stretched) a swingarm from a '67 Triumph. I am using a front end off a Suzuki SV650 and the wheels are both stock rear rims from a Hyosung GV250 cruiser. I am using a motor from a clubcar golf cart, and 5 batteries (2 motorcycle batteries and 3 full size import car batteries). The handlebars are from a dirtbike/motorcross bike and the thumb throttle is from an old Honda ATV.

I have no idea if my electrical engineer friend and I can get it to be anything more than a novelty, but I am having a ton of fun building it and I just finished the construction of it - so now its down to the wiring.

If I can even get the bike to move under its own power, I will be a very happy guy. If not... well... maybe I can throw a 250cc in it or a old CB750 engine... who knows...
