Default Going to Nashville this weekend

I'm taking Melissia to Nashville this weekend. She has no clue. I do that sometimes. I get everything arranged like where the kids will be, money, hotel room reservation, etc. Then on a Saturday, in the middle of breakfast or some other menial task, I'll simply tell her, "Pack a bag. We're leaving in 45 minutes." She's like, "What? Where?". These questions are useless cause she knows I'll say, "You'll see when we get there." I tell her she's got 45 minutes or nevermind. She moves like greased lightening. She actually keeps a separate, fully packed bag of makeup/bathroom stuff now that is ready to go at a moments notice.

She loves when I do that because she has come to learn that I have taken care of everything and she need not worry but just enjoy herself. So, this weekend it's Nashville.

Not for me.....
Hehe, sorry but I'd hate that.
What if I had my own plans to ride/shop/meet friends/do whatever???

I also like the whole prep period. Like discussing where we might go and what we might do. That'll take half the fun away!!!

Which.....is probably just me.

Yeah, I can see that. But she digs it. I dig it. We love it. It illustrates the kind of people we are. She'll surprise me too. She had been married before and she didn't really like doing much with him as I've found out. Mostly because he was immature. Melissia had to be mom as well as wife. If they did anything together, she had to do everything. All of the planning, arrangements, packing, etc. He just, well, had to just drive and go with her. That gets old.

Oh, well, in that case, I'll send the return to ticket to Glasgow, with your name on it, back to the travel agent, and have them cancel the all expense paid room at No.1 Devonshire Gardens, then.

If you're into guitars, check out Gruhn's Music while you're there.

Also, if you've been drinking (a LOT), don't try to take a running leap onto the top of one of those trash cans down by the river. A, uh, guy I knew (yeah, "a guy I knew," that's the ticket!) tried that and wound up with bruises from his wrists to his elbows.

Thanks for the tips. Cool. A few years ago there was this poor looking guy named Pete that sat on the sidewalk with his guitar hoping someone would toss him some change. He was awful. And drunk. I thought it might just be one of those nights for him. But I've seen him few times since and he seemed just as drunk and sounded just as bad. There was a guy once in Savannah that I was thoroughly impressed with. When I closed my eyes and listened, he reminded my so much of Jim Croce.

Pretty much all of Melissia's soreness is gone from her upper torso enhancement, so we's gonna have some dancin' fun this weekend!
