Default Las Vegas /Thanksgiving

Well in 2 hours we are off to Vegas for the holiday. Me, my wife, youngest daughter & son in law. Doubt we will come back richer - they don't build those big places with people leaving dirty clothes there & stuffing the suitcase full of $$$$$$$$$$$ for the trip home. Not big time gamblers anyway but enjoy the place & get to see some great shows.

What they say happens in Vegas, stay's in Vegas. Usually that's your money, you happen to put it in a machine and it stay's there. Good luck and have fun.

I'm not a gambler either but I still love that place! There's always something fun going on for everybody.

Have fun and good luck!!

Just had my first trip there 2 weeks ago for our 8 year anniversary.

I can highly recommend the 'Ka' show at MGM by Cirque du Soleil.

Absolutely mind blowing!
Have a Happy Vegas Turkey day!

I can't see having much fun there. But then again I haven't really researched ALL what there is to do there.

I HATE gambling... there's no fun in that for me. I guess if I was very comfortable financially it may make matters different but since I'm always paycheck to paycheck until my wife finishes school, every $1 goes to something worthy of the cause.... pissing it away on gambling isn't one of them.

We missed it. When? Just now. When will then be now? Soon.

Hit Freemont street. It is the old area with light canopy.
Slots are loose and the pace is slower and more relaxed than the big casinos.

I don't gamble - we put two quarters in slots when we were there - just because you have to gamble something in Vegas, right!
There is a lot of stuff to do there for all ages - from awesome shows that you won't see anywhere else, to shark tanks and dolphin petting for the kids..

More food than you could possibly hope to sample..

But obviously it all comes at a price.
Our 24 hour anniversary trip cost about $1600 for flights, limo, hotel, dinner and a show.
