I was up til 3am finishing my application packet. Getting a job with the state sure does take a lot of paperwork.

If I had to go through all that to find out why I dont sleep I think I'd just rather take a bottle of sleeping pills and be done with it.

Good luck with that, Jim. Getting that job would probably set you 'til retirement, eh?

For the rest of you not from Alabama - you gotta understand what a great post getting in with the community college system in Alabama is. Not unusual for professors and other professionals in the 2-year system to out-earn their counterparts in the 4-year colleges.

Well I just got a notice that I will be getting a letter soon about the dates and times for the job interviews for the director postion over the neurodiagnostics and polysomnography (sleep disorders) programs at the college. Cool beans!
