I've done that before. On a streetbike. Sliding in sand. Hurts to remember.

yea first time I rode on the street i instinctivly put my inside foot down, haha i never seen a blue guy go so pale so fast haha, needless to say I learned the hard way haha never to do that again

Don't worry Wuby, I had the same problem when I started riding the road. "Sliding off" "putting my foot out" "Trying to spin out the ass"

The hardest thing to keep in mind for me was to keep my feet on the pegs. I just always wanted to put a foot out in a turn.Took a bit of doing but, I broke myself of the habit.

Road bikes are heavy and don't handle like dirt bikes, damn!! Big ass over powered tanks, jeesh, who came up with this dumb ass, feet on the peg stuff, stupid sh@t!!! Must have been some old dude.

Kinda like the sign I saw in a small TX panhandle town that advertized the MSF course and showed a picture of a guy doing a free-style trick over a jump.
