I remember when the SAW was slowly replacing the 60. POS was always jamming back then. They redesigned the belt feed case. That fixed it. If you haven't shot the 60, you haven't lived.

There's 3 platoons per company. 3 squads per platoon. 3 fire teams per squad. 3 men (+1 fire team leader) per fire team. I've carried the SAW before. Right of passage so to say. I.E. Newbies get smaller bikes, there newbies get the luxury of carrying the heaviest weapon. If they can't make you smarter....they'll make you stronger....

Nah...I carried it for the Mountain Warfare Training Center when we went. Definitely good firepower when it ain't broke.
