Well, if the Giants don't fumble, if Favre doesn't throw too many interceptions..........

the games could be close, but I don't expect these 8 and 9 point spreads to be covered.

I think sometimes numbers are just put out there.

Like when the Pack was favored over the Bears by 10; and lost.

I really didn't expect them to cover the 8 point spread.

Many of us remember a few years back when the pack lost it's 1st home postseason game (ever) to the Atlanta Falcons; who went onto the superbowl and got spanked.

Some of us remember that.

The snow does make the game more fun to watch.

Unlike mud, snow can have a psychological effect that can work against you or for you.

Mud, mud makes things tought all the way around.

Giants are going to give the Pack everything they can handle.

Maybe the Chargers will upset the Patriots, too.

And for Rock, did you notice who intercepted the ball in the endzone for the Giants?

I missed the Dallas/NY game, but caught the live press conference afterwards with TO crying like a %%%%%.

Indy's loss didn’t surprise me, the Chargers have been kicking ass. Peyton’s two interceptions really hurt pushing him into desperate plays. On top of that Indy’s defense couldn’t do crap to stop Rivers.

Packer’s, eh, well they covered the spread. I don’t know how but they did.

I'm happy that the Giants won....you are right that the Packers are going to have their hands full with the Giants...now on the other end, Pats and Chargers....thats a toss...while I don't like either team, I want the Chargers to win, to break up the Pats...just my thoughts...don't want to start a war of words...

First off, omegajim, the falcons never beat the Pack and went to the SB, they've only been there once and that was 98 with Chandler and Anderson. Pack over Giants, Pats over Chargers (by at least 21). The Chargers, hahaha. I think Tomlinson needs a new vest. Hey everyone down there in Chicago, hows that off-season goin? Ooops, they can't talk, they gotta find a Q-U-A-R-T-E-R-B-A-C-K. Maybe DH can do that too?

You're right.

The Falcons beat the Packers in 2002 and went on to lose to the Eagles the very next week. With a QB by the name of Vic.

and you think the Chargers will get past the Patriots?

Boy oh boy, if you're right you're a genius.

That could be a whole 'nother thread......

Are you happy Dallas lost?

Right now, Dallas hasn't been winning Superbowls for awhile, so I was only concerned that with the Giants winning, the pack gets a home game.

People all around Green Bay will be renting out their extra bedrooms, and why not?

I said Pats "over" chargers, meaning San Diego fans will have sundays free after next week.

I dunno, the chargers could upset the Patriots.

The 21 point spread with the Patriots receiving corps wouldn't be hard to imagine, either.

Didn't think that Manning's 50 touchdown passes would get passed up the very next year. So that shows what I was thinking.

I'm thinking the same thing....Chargers could very well upset them (the Pats). I myself would be happy to see that happen as I'm sure many other people would as well. I wouldn't mind the Giants making it all the way, even though loads of people want Favre to make it, since this could be his last, for real, final year playing.
