They keep handing the ball over, there might be some drinking tonight for the Chicago boys.

Someone's ass needs to be kicked for all these false starts.

The Bears aren't playing great, the Vikings are just playing stupid.

Like when the Bears d back caught that rainbow for an interception.

Now the real game starts.

btw, anybody else notice that nearly every game the Patriots start off real slow and real bland and really only pick up steam by about the middel of the 2nd quarter?

I always like the blimp's view of the dome..........

........and here's the dome! Look at that dome from the blimp.

(it could be nearly any dome, who would care?)

The Bears didn't embarass themselves, you saw how good Darren Sharper is; the pack should've resigned him to do plays like that.

Well it wasn’t pretty either; it could have been more disastrous with a third string quarter back. That offense needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Either its bad coaching or a lack of fundamental skills, they can’t be that fricken dumb knowing what the counts going be and still be off sides and there’s allot of other things also.

It would be nice to score tickets for the GB/ Bears this Sunday.

I think the Bears have a bit of what I like to call "Brewers' syndrome."

It's a case where the owners think they are going to make enough money off of the team to support their lavish lifestyles; meantime the best the team can be is hit and miss.

I call it "Brewers' syndrome" because when the Seligs owned the Brewers the payroll was around 20 million.

The year after the Selig and their group sold, the payroll went to 37 million.

Where did the 17 million come from? Simple, the new owner took every penny that the Brewers were making and plowed it back into the team.

A few years later, we are reaping the benefits; The Brewers did not have a winning season, but they have played the most competitve ball that almost anyone can remember. The fans know it, that's why attendance was 2.8 million, not too bad out of a possible (small stadium) max of 3.3 million.

Where do the McCaskey's come in? Simple, any money they take from the team could be used for signing bonuses and all the other "intangibles" that are loopholes in the salary cap system.

Don't take my word for it; it is the primary reason skyboxes were put in at Lambeau field and then a few years later, additional skyboxes were added. That money goes to the "intangibles"

Tricker, well put.

The pack by 10 over the Bears. Not that I expect them to cover the spread.

The pack by 3.

As a COWBOY fan, lemme just say this to the Bears...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

If my 'boys go to the conference championship against the Packers it sure is nice to know they won't be in that terrible Green Bay winter weather.

However, judging by Favre performance in that cold yesterday, maybe teams SHOULD want to face him in Green Bay's snow/ice. He was mega-terrible.

Were you really watching the game?

The cowboys going to Green Bay would just have to have a better running game / run defense than the packers; the wind pretty much shut down the passing game.

That said, the way Green Bay played yesterday, the cowboys would have a shot at beating Green Bay at home.

Not that it's going to matter now.

Whoever wins is going to have to play the freight train known as "The Patriots."

It's early, the Patriots sometimes get off to a slow start.

But they've always managed to win. Don't see it ending here.
