be careful drinking that cool aid, it can have some pretty nasty side effects.

That said, I think the Brewers have a shot. They play competitively; and there should be a baseball thread to discuss this on.

Although, football is all over, so it could be worse - we could be discussing Basketball. or hockey.

btw, turn left. and left, and left some more.

me, F1, more interesting. Race for a good hour, no paint trading, and most importantly, they race through town.

The monte carlo race, if you didn't know.

and nascar doesn't race through town, neither.

I tried watching Nascar and really following it; mind you this was the year Kennseth won and the year after.

It was amusing, but it seems to me unless you're at a smoky tavern playing pool, it would be hard for the race to keep "your complete attn."

It's the kind of thing you have on the radio while you're fishing. With the vcr taping the race, just in case there's something you actually needed to watch.

I can't watch Nascar either, I have friends that can't get enough of it. Not enough happening there to hold my attention.

That's how I prefer baseball; on the radio. You can do all sorts of things and listen to the game.

Nascar is about like that, but the vcr is handy, some of those wrecks are pretty spectacular.

btw rock, my point, and I've got a more than a couple of Bears fans who are buying into the 18 - 1 t shirt concept.

Specifically, a grey t-shirt with black lettering. The 18 would be using the same font as the colts, as would the one. Small lettering underneath "not good enough."

So, rock, do you want 1,2 or 3? I'm planning on putting in an order for about 2 dozen in a couple of weeks.

yup, they're dancing in the streets in Chicago; wouldn't surprise me if rioting broke out by tonight.

Not that it mattered; I think the Packers had about a 0.500 winning percentage against the bears in Brett's years as a QB.

I find it amusing the Bears fans all love it that Favre's retired; he and the pack didn't have a great record against the Bears; against the rest of the NFL it's quite a bit better.

winningest qb. the new term for "won the most games at qb."

time to revive the thread; looks like the pack is in for a long season; and the Jets might have a winning season.
